RESOLUTION REVISING THE COUNq~' STATE AID HIGPP, VAY SYSTEM v, rHEREAS, the Count).' Board of the Count), of Anoka has requested revisions to its State Aid System through the Count), State Aid Screening Board under the provisions of Minnesota Law, and; WHiEREAS, the county State Aid ,,H~?hway Screening Board has recommended major revisions to the Anoka County State Aid S.~stem and the addnion of 17.136 miles of Count)., State .,kid Highway in the Count), of Anoka, and; WHEREAS, these revisions will put the CoUnt)' of Anoka in a position to receive increased fundina under the Count), State Aid Highway System through increased mileages and increased needs [or those segments recommended by the Screening Board, and; WHEREAS, it is Anoka County's custom to utilize its State Aid dollars in the best interest of the travelling public w/thin the Count3, of Anoka and State Aid dollars are not designated to any roadway in particular for future construction, a_nd; '9,rI-IEREAS, those segments being recommended as deleted from the Count~, State Aid 'HSghway System will fall onto the Count), Road System and will not cause an), addit{onal costs to any of the cities involved in the transfer of County State Aid Highway miles, and; WIqiEREAS, in setting priorities for reconstruction and maintenance of the County State AJd Highway System and the Count5' Road System in Anoka Court.fy, the County. Board takes into consideration the needs of those roadways regardless of their standing as a County State Aid . Highway or County Road. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL\rED by the Anoka County. Board of Commissioners that the following changes to the Anoka Count), Highway System be made: l) That County Road 116 (Bunker Lake Boulevard) from Crooked Lake Boulevard lOld County. State Aid Highway 18) to County State Aid Highway 17 Lexin~on Avenue/',rE) be desi~ated as County State Aid Highway 116. The length of this segment is 8.7~5 miles. la) That Anoka County revoke the designation of County State Aid Highway 16 (Andover Boulevard NW/NrE) from County State Aid Highway 78 (I4anson Boulevard) to TH 65 w/th said revocation 3.564 miles in length. lb) That Anoka County revoke the State Aid designation on County State Aid Highway Number 10 (North'Road) from County State Aid I-Iighway 17 (Lexington Avenue) ' to TH 49 (Lake Drive) said revocati0r~ being 1~300 miles in l~ngth. The total change for segment 1 MB result in a 3.891 mile increase in the Anoka · County State Aid Highway System and this change affecus the Cities of Lino Lakes, Circle'Pines, Blaine, Ham Lake and Andover. 2) That Count',, Road 116 (Bunker Lake Boulevard/Industry Ave. NW) from Count',, State Aid I~ghway 9 (Round Lake Boulevard) to County Road 57 (Sunfish Lake' Boulevard) be designated as Count), State Aid Highway 116. This segment is 4.136 miles in length. 2a) The County State Aid Highway Screening Board Mileage Sub-Committee recommended the inclusion of a portion of Count)' Road 57 (Sunfish Lake Blvd.) as a terminus for the County State Aid Highw.ay Designation on Count), Road 116.
