I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #95-12- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~APPROVING ANOKA AREA ICE ARENA ASSOCIATION <br />APPLICATION ~OR A PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT JR's <br />SALOON AND FOOD <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~, Anoka Area Ice Arena Association has applied for a premise permit for <br />gambling at JR's Saloon and Food, 6141 Highway #10 N.W., Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Anoka Area Ice Arena Association owns and operates a community ice <br />arena; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Anoka Area Ice Arena Association has requested Council waive the 30-day <br />notice provision; anit <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFO <br />RAMSEY, ANOK <br /> <br /> rE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> k COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for Anoka <br />Area Ice Arem Association to operate lawfial gambling at JR's Saloon and Food, 6141 <br />Highway #10 NfW., Ramsey. <br /> <br />That the RamseY City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br />3. That the Ramse~ City Council hereby authorizes the Finance Officer to sign the application <br /> and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the iadoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upOn vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> <br />
