I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember ~ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #95-12~ RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ARCON CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. IFOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ~q94-20 (THE EXTENSION OF SANITARY SEIr~E. R AND WATER TO THE PROPOSED ANOKA ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE I~ACILITY AND ENERGY PARK ADDITION) WHEREASi the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution ~94-09-214 on September 27, 1994, Iapproving this project; and WHEREASi the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution ~:)5-08-169 on August 8, 1995, awarding the bid to Arcon Construction Company, Inc. for the extension of sanitary sewer and water to ihe proposed Anoka Electric Cooperative Facility and Energy Park Addition (Improvement Projec~ g94-20); and WHEREAS~ previous payments have been made to Arcon Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $535,~03.65. WHEREASi City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Arcon Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $196,270.47. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, AI~IOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the cit~ Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Arcon Construction Company, Inc. for the eStension of sanitary sewer and water to the proposed Anoka Electric Cooperative Facility and i Energy Park Addition (Improvement Project #94-20) in the amount of $196,270.4Z 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Aclminis~rat~ to sign the release form for this payment. [ 3) That the total~ amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the mont~ of December, 1995. 4) That the Cityiof Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. [ The motion for the ~opfion of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember ~ and upon vo~ being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following vo~ed against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th day of De~mber, 1995.
