I I I I I I I I Councilmember ~ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #95-12-__ RESOLUTION R~ECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ~95-20 (BITUMINOUS PAVING OF 151ST AVENUE,'- 152ND AVENUE AND FLUORINE STREET WEST OF T.H. #47 IN SECTIO~ 24) WHEREAS, thc City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the improvement of bitu~finous paving of 151st Avenue, 152nd Avenue and Fluorine Street west of T.H. 4/47 in Section 24; and WHEREAS~the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage of lawful signatures Of affected property owners; and WHEREAS., the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the City Charter and Mifinesota Statutes concerning local improvements. ., NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That a certa~ petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of bituminous l~aving of 151st Avenue, I52nd Avenue and Fluorine Street west of T.H. //47 in Section 24 has been filed with the City Council on December 12, 1995. The petition is hereby decla!'ed to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. This declaration i$ made in conformity to City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. 2) That the petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed to prepare a !feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to the cost of ~e project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also comment as ':to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some other improv~ement. 3) That the abo~,e mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project//95- 20. ~ The motion for the ~option of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember __ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th day of December, 1995.
