The City Council has provided for the creation of the Business Park 95 Addition using the property that laas been purchased in Section 35. At this time, the City has sold and provided for Oe development of the three lots that were created with the fa'st phase of the addition. Staff[ is requesting the introduction of the attached ordinance allowing for the sale of the outlot cr~eated in the fa'st phase and the sale of the Spohn property abutting the Outlot to the east. ~ As Council is ~tware, our Charter currently requires that an ordinance is passed prior to sale of any City-owned property. Attached for your review and consideration, is an ordinance which will allow for the sale of the following parcels: a)i Outlot B, Business Park 95 Addition That part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast comer of said Northwest Quarter, thence West along the North line thereof for 51 rods; thence south parallel with the east line of said Northwest Quarter to the North line of the Burlington Northern Railway fight-of-way as now located; thence easterly along said north line of the Burlington Northern Railway fight-of-way to the south line of said Northwest Quarter;, thence east along said south line to the Southeast comer of said Northwest Quarter;, thence north along the east line of said Northwest Quarter to the place of beginning. EXCEPT the east ten rods thereof AND EXCEPT that part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at a point of the north line of said Northwest Quarter lying I65 feet east of the Northwest comer of said Northwest Quarter;, thence west along the north line of said Northwest Quarter a distance of 500 feet; thence south parallel with the east line of said Northwest Quarter a distance of 726 feeg thence east parallel with the north line of said Northwest Quarter a distance of 500 feet; thence north parallel with the east of said Northwest Quarter to the point of beginning. Containing approximately 5.01 acres. We are reque sting a first reading of the attached ordinance, with a second reading would be scheduled for the next City Council meeting.
