City of RAMSEY <br /> <br />December 12; 1995 <br /> <br />Mayor, City Council, and Administrator; <br /> <br />This is to try iand clarify my position on the Pending Sunwood Drive. <br />There was also a previous letter delivered in Sept of 1994. <br /> <br />I do not intend to resist the creation of Sunwood Drive, that has never been my <br />intention. <br /> <br />I am resistingl some of the illustrated location of the Western 300 feet, as it <br />directly impa~ts valuable natural resources on my property. <br /> <br />As of this date, There has not been presented to me a legible copy of exactly <br />what to city i/atends to purchase from me. There has been no offer made for me <br />to decline or Counter-offer. I have some definite ideas about what is acceptable <br />to me, and these are not secrets, and were set out in the previous letter. <br /> <br />Basically there are 3 issues: <br /> I do not, intend to sell any portion of the shoreline of the property. <br /> That I be guaranteed that the 2 mature Red Oak not be damaged or <br /> removed by the construction. <br /> That I ~eceive a new, current Certificate of Survey for all the remaining <br /> property. (I have one current to March, 1993) <br /> <br />Under these circumstances, I am not totally comfortable with an action to <br />commence cohdemnation, As I don't know what is being condemned yet. <br />I believe that ~[ should receive fair compensation, but no offer has been made, so <br />I don't know if it is acceptable. All of the other property owners that have been <br />impacted by Sunwood Drive, (there have been 7) were given location options, <br />and negotiated with. I have not been consulted with on any of the 5 alignments <br />through my property. <br /> <br /> <br />
