Absent: Councilmember Peterson. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: iRequest for Final Plat Approval of Anoka Electric Cooperative <br /> iEnergy Park; Case of Anoka Electric CooPerative (AEC) <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik explained that as part of their relocation to Ramsey, Anoka <br />Electric Coopekafive (AEC) has acquired approximately 138 acres in the southeast comer of <br />the intersectio/~ of C.S.A.H. #116 and C.S.A.H. #56. AEC is requesting final plat <br />approval to pl~t the property into commercial lots. On July 25, 1995, Council granted <br />preliminary pl~t approval to the AEC EnergY Park. The approved preliminary plat <br />consisted of 1_~) commercial lots and .one outlot for furore development; seven commercial <br />lots south of ~unwood Drive and three lots and one outlot on the north side of Sunwood <br />Drive. Ms. Fr~.lik reported that, subsequent tO the preliminary plat approval, the applicants <br />have merged sgme of the lots on the south side of Sunwood Drive into larger lots and three <br />additional outl'pts are proposed. Outlot B will facilitate a sedimentation pond and is <br />proposed to be[deeded to the City for a possible site for a furore water tower. Outlot C was <br />provided on tile common boundary between Lot 1, Block 4, and Lot 1, Block 3, to <br />facilitate the e~q~nsion of sanitary sewer north off of Jasper Street and preserve a corridor <br />for the possibl~ future connection of Jasper Slreet with Sunwood Drive.
