5) Review Enterprise Funds and Related Requests - 1996 <br /> <br />- and - <br /> <br />6) Review Economic Development Authority Fund - 1996 Budget' <br /> Requests <br /> <br />Finance Officer Hart stated that due to the shortage of time, the Finance Committee did not <br />have the chance to review the Enterprise Fund and the Economic Development Authority <br />Fund. These will be reviewed prior to adoption of the budget. <br /> <br />7) Easement Acquisition <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder reported that for the sanitary sewer project to service Super <br />America, City Engineer Jankowski has recommended jacking under the T.H. g47 nearer <br />the Blue Velvet Car Wash so as to avoid construction in the congested right-of-way along <br />C.R. 4/116. In order to do this, the City would have to obtain a 20-foot permanent utility <br />easement with the owners of the car wash, which they have agreed to, for $1.00 per square <br />foot. This equates to a cost of $5,500. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to <br />authorize acquisition of a utility easement form the Blue Velvet Car Wash at $1 per foot. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer and <br />Beahen. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberPeterson. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) Drainage Easement Plat <br /> <br />Upon inquiry by Councilmember Zimmerman, City Administrator Schroeder reported that <br />he believed the City Engineer is negotiating with the parcel owner for easement. Staff was <br />directed by Council to check if the Section//22 drainage easement plat has been filed as yet. <br /> <br />2) Sewer Project - Ramsey Elementary School' <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated there is a group of citizens who have some questions <br />and concerns relating to the Ramsey EIementary School sewer project and they have asked <br />for a representative of the City to come to a neighborhood function on Saturday afternoon. <br /> <br />3) Conflict of Interest <br /> <br />Relating to some letters received, Council directed staff to discuss them with the City <br />Attorney and respond to'the residents, copying City Council. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
