I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />'1 <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey F~nance Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, September 26, <br />1995, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Pres~int: <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Finance Officer Jessie Hart <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br /> <br />Councilmembe~ Peterson called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee to order at <br />6:02 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as presented. <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br />Case #1: Declare Surplus Property <br /> <br />Finance Office~ Hart stated that, annually the City goes through its inventory to determine if <br />any of it is considered surplus. She explained that the Police Department transferred a <br />1990 Ford CrOwn Victoria, a 1992 Ford Crown Victoria and two 1993 Ford Crown <br />Victorias into tile administrative fleet. Due to the high mileage on the 1990 Ford Crown <br />Victoria, she s~ggestedit be sold as sttrplus property. Due to purchases of new vehicles in <br />the Street and Utilities Departments, other vehicles were deemed surplus. She listed the <br />following surpl~s, li, property: 1990 Ford Crown Victoria, 1982 Ford L-800 2-1/2 ton dump <br />with plow andi wing, 1985 Chevrolet utility pick-up, 1989 Ford Crown Victoria, 1989 <br />Ford Crown Vittoria and a 1987 Chevrolet Caprice. Ms. Hart added that with the purchase <br />of the new computer system, it is quite possible there may be various pieces of computer <br />equipment that knay also be declared surplus. She asked that the buildings at the old Public <br />Works site be;~ldedeclared surplus property also with the knowledge that they may be <br />demolished or lold for scrap and/or moving. She anticipated advertising the sale of such <br />properties in th~ League of Minnesota Cities Bulletin and/or publishing them in the Anoka <br /> <br />Finance Committee/September 26, 1995 <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
