Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin called the regular portion of the City Council meeting back to order at 8:00 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to introduce <br />the ordinance authorizing vacation of the portion of dmhaage and utility easements dedicated <br />on Lot 3A, Block 3 of Nature View Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Beahen <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Introduce Proposed Ordinance Vacating Drainage and Utility <br /> Easements Along the former Westerly Lot Line of Lot 15, <br /> Block 1, Northfork Point Addition <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 8:01 p.m. in order <br />to conduct the public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin called the public hearing to order at 8:01 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that the owner of Lot 15, Block 1, Northfork Point <br />Addition has requested the vacation of the traditional five-foot wide drainage and utility <br />easements on both sides of the western lot line. The property has applied for and received <br />an Administrative Subdivision to move the lot line to the west to facilitate a retaining wall. <br />The owners of both the affected properties have provided new drainage and utility <br />easements along the newly created lot line. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />Pete Schweppe, owner of the property, introduced himself to Council and stated he was <br />available in case they had questions. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmernber Beyer to close the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Beahen <br />and Zimmerman.
