CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey C-~ity Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, September 26, 1995, <br />at the Ramsey~Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Finance Officer Jessie Hart <br />City Engineer Steve Iankowski <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin Called the regular portion of the City Council meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Dale and Elise~Ekegren stated they will be applying for a building permit for 159th Court in <br />Northfork Oal~ 2nd Addition. They requested that 159th be changed to Royal Court. The <br />plat has not yet been permanently registered. They added that North Fork is only one of a <br />few premier gblf courses in the state and the addition has premier homes. He felt the <br />aesthetics of ~n~-ne named streets attract more people. Mr. Ekegren stated that he owns a <br />business in N~w Brighton and in talking with the planner there, he was told that changing <br />street names islnot a big deal. He reminded Council that there have been similar changes in <br />the North Forl~ subdivision such as Yak Street to York Street. <br /> <br />Consensus of ICouncil was that this request should come from the developers of North <br />Fork so Coundl is assured they are in support of this. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />City Administt~ tor Schroeder pointed out that a public hearing notice was published for the <br />levy of assessments for past-due charges on municipal utility bills but it was inadvertently <br />left off the agehda. He asked to have it added as Case 10A. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to approve <br />the agenda as amended. <br /> <br />Motion carried; Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson, Beahen, Beyer <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Coa. ncilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to remove, <br />from the Consent Agenda #13: Resolution approving partial payment to H & M Asphalt for <br /> <br /> City Council/September 26, 1995 <br /> Pa~,e 3 of 22 <br /> <br /> <br />
