Councilmember Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />RESOLUTION #11 -05 -097 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 2 PARTIAL PAYMENT TO RUM RIVER <br />CONTRACTING FOR IP 10 -07 ALPINE DRIVE/ROANOKE STREET <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for the above referenced work; and <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the <br />advertisement for bids for the above referenced work on May 11, 2010; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Alpine Drive/Roanoke Street <br />Improvements, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and awarded on <br />October 12, 2010; and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to Rum River Contracting in the amount of <br />$177,225.31. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to Rum River Contracting in the amount of <br />$1,192.73. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Rum River Contracting for the <br />Alpine Drive/Roanoke Street Improvements in the amount of $1,192.73. <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the pay request and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of May 31, 2011. <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Wise upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />RESOLUTION #11 -05 -097 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
