1.2.2 SERVICES PF. RFORM~.r~-Services p~fformed pursuant to this paragraph <br />1.2 will consist of arm]ysis of the apparent problem, r~pair or replacement of <br />the part~ which appear to b~ failed, and remst of the unit. In the case of failures <br />to part~ other than those covered by this agreement (including, but not limited <br />to, failure of the siren itself or electrical service to the unit), the City and/or its <br />electrician will be notified as specified by the City. <br /> <br />1.2.3 REPORTING-Following each emergency service response, a report will <br />be immediately prepared by the Doradus technician and forwarded to the City <br />describing the problem reported, the analysis of the problem and corrective <br />actions taken, if any. <br /> <br />1.2.4 PRIORITY-City acknowledges that it has been offered by Doradus a <br />service maintenance a~eement under which Doradus would provide, on a <br />prepaid basis, regular inspections and maintenance of the un/ts within the <br />boundaries of City. City has elected not to obtain such prepaid maintenance <br />service. City further acknowledges that municipalities and counties other than <br />City have contracted with Doradus for such prepaid maintenance service. City <br />will be provided emergency service after those municipalities and counties <br />which have contracted with Doradus for prepaid maintenance service have <br />received emergency service requested by them. <br /> <br /> All emergency service requested by any City will receive emergency service <br /> response prior to preventive service calls, regardless of whether or not Doradus <br /> has a~eed to provide prepaid maintenance service to such mumcipality or <br /> counD,, <br /> <br />1.3 MONITORING OF TEST REPORTS- Dora~'S shall monitor the following test <br />reports on sirens covered by this ag'reement resulting from silent tests run by the City <br />or by the County in which the City is located on units described in Attachment 2: <br /> <br />1.3.t FR.EQI. YF_MCY- Doradus will monitor silent test reports a mqn~rnum of <br />once per week, generally on the day following the running of a silent test. <br /> <br />1.3.2 ANALYSIS-Doradus will monitor these test reports for items which <br />represent to Doradus known failure modes of the un/ts and for events not <br />previously seen or explained. Whenever a suspected failure of a unit is detected <br />from such repons, such suspected failure will be reported to the City. <br /> <br />It will be the responsibili~ of the CiB, to .initiate ali calk for either routine or <br />emergency service. Each Cit~' and Count}, is encouraged to continue to monitor <br />the operation of each siren in any manner currently used (including but not <br />limited to live observers of monthly tests, analysis of silent test results, etc.), <br /> <br />1.3.3 P, Y2:~ORTING- Doradus will provide to the City a monthly summa_fy of <br />all pertinent data gathered as a result of such tests. <br /> <br /> <br />
