Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #95'-01-XXX RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO COPY MACHINES AND AMENDING THE 1995 ADOPTED GENERAL FUND BUDGET WHEREAS, at the Council's Finance Committee meeting of January 24, 1995, staff presented a request for the purchase of two new cop3' machines as replacements; and WHEREAS, included in the 1995 Adopted General Fund Budget was the purchase of one copy machine as replacement copy machine at an amount of $31,980.00, which includes annual maintenance; and WHEREAS, Administrative Services and staff have demonstrated in good faith several different brands of copy machines; and WHEREAS, it is fiscally responsible to purchase an additional replacement copy machine for the Police Department; and WHEREAS, the purchase of a second replacement copy machine requires a budget amendment which increases the overall General Fund revenues by $5,000.00 and reallocates the moneys already budgeted for copy machine replacement; and WHEREAS, the total sum of $i9,970.00 is available in the City's Equipment Replacement Fund and is taken into consideration in the 1995 Adopted General Fund Budget and this amendment; and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee approved this recommendation and hereby recommends that Ramsey City Council authorize the purchase and funding sources as detailed in this resolution. NOB" THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the capital purchase of two replacement copy machines for a total funding requirement of $36,683.78 which includes annual maintenance. 3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes a 1995 General Fund budget amendment increasing the transfer of funds from the Cit?s Equipment Replacement fund by $5,0000.00 and realtocates the existing budget accordingly. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the transfer of funds from the City's Equipment Replacement Fund to the General Fund as detailed within this resolution.
