Case #3 <br /> <br /> I~AWFUL GAMBLING IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> By: Mark Boos, Parks/Utilities Supervisor <br /> <br />Earlier, you received the two applications for the Commission's Lawful Gambling Fund <br />(attached). Below ils the evaluation process paragraph. <br /> <br />Evaluation Process <br /> <br />Each Committee member will receive copies of all proposals to review prior to the February <br />meeting. After ~ applicant's presentation to the Commission, each Committee member will <br />assign a ranking ts the projects. The rankings would be added, then divided by the number of <br />voters to determin~the initial ranking. At this point, the Committee will undertake a discussion to <br />ensure that the res01tant rank of the project does indeed fit the City's need. This collective review <br />may allow for a re}vote of all the projects or an agreement to modify the scope of the program or <br />the available dorm to ensure the City receives the most benefit for ~ts effort. <br /> <br />Staff Recomme~ldat~on. <br /> <br />Staff recommendslformulating project emphasis for year 1996, or determining a time to do so. <br />Staff also recommends determining successful applicant(s) and recommending <br />requirements/obligStions that may not be addressed in the applicant's proposal.
