REQUES~ FOR SKETCH PLAN REVIEW OF BUSINESS PARK <br /> A MINOR SUBDIVISION; CASE OF CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />95, <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The City of RamSey recently entered into a purchase agreement for property in the Industrial <br />District and is no~ proposing to plat 3 lots from that property and an adjacent parcel previously <br />acquired to accommodate incoming industrial developments. The area to be platted is <br />approximately 13 ~cres in size. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your review: <br /> <br /> a) Sit~ location map <br /> b) Pr~osed sketch plan <br /> c) Ci~ S taft review letter dated March 29, 1995 <br /> <br />Observations: : <br /> <br />The three lots are proposed at 1.5 acres, 2.5 acres and 7.3 acres. There is also a natural ponding <br />area that would belretained~, by the City for drainage purposes and perhaps some minor recreational <br />activity, such as a l~edestrian pathway around the pond. All of the lots meet the one acre minimum <br />lot size requiremerlt. <br /> <br />The lots would re~,ive public access from McKinley and Uranium Streets. These streets are being <br />constructed by the City with tax increment financing revenues to promote economic development <br />activities. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends approval of the sketch plan. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: ~ <br />Recommend that City Council grant final plat approval to Business Park 95, a minor <br />subdivision. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />PC: 4/4/95 <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Engineer <br />Economic Development Coordinator <br /> <br /> <br />
