Voting No: None. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION OF COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD TO RAMSEY <br />GARDEN CI~UB <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin Presented the Ramsey Garden Club with a Community Service Award in <br />recognition of their planting/landscaping at Emerald Pond Park and elsewhere in the City. <br /> <br />COUNCIL I~USINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: l~resentation by John Weaver Representing Anoka County <br /> Itistorical Society <br /> <br />Mr. John Weaver, a Boardmember of the Anoka County Historical Society, was present to <br />i, ufom:~ Council, and Ramsey Residents of the fund raiser for a new museum, being <br />provided for by IGarrison Keillor. <br /> <br />On a "historical~' note, City Administrator Schroeder reported that he had received a letter <br />from Senator P~/ula Hanson stating that the City will be receiving funding for refurbishing <br />the old town hal~ on Highway #47; however, the letter did not state the amount of funding. <br /> <br />Case #2: Yyorkers Compensation Rates; Presentation by Anoka Area <br /> Ighamber of Commerce <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Snell,iDirector of Anoka County Chamber of Commerce, was present to ask <br />Council to adopt a resolution relating to workers' compensation rates.
