Subdivision - Design Standards § 9.50.30 <br /> <br />to <br /> <br /> ~Subd. 5. <br />following certifications: <br /> <br />do <br /> <br />A reproducible copy of the final plat shall be prepared as an <br />address map in accordance with City and County policy and <br />shall include all addresses of lots platted. <br /> <br />Final plats, certification. The final plat shall contain the <br /> <br />Notarized certificates by owner or by any mortgage holder of <br />record of the adoption of the plat and the dedication of streets <br />and other public areas; <br />Notarized certification by a registered land surveyor to the effect <br />that the plat represents a survey made by him and that <br />monuments and markers shown therein exist as located and that <br />all dimensional and geodetic details are correct; <br /> <br />Certification showing that all taxes and special assessments or <br />fees imposed in lieu thereof due on the property have been paid <br />in full; <br /> <br />Space for certificates of approval to be filled in by the signatures <br />of the Chairman of the Planning Commission, the Mayor, the <br />Administrator and the City Engineer;, <br /> <br />Private restrictions and. trusteeships and their duration. Should <br />such restrictions and trusteeships be of such length as to make <br />the lettering of same on plat impracticable and thus necessitate <br />the preparation of a separate instruments, reference to such <br />instruments shall be made on the plat and the book and page <br />number referring to the instrument shall be added to the plat after <br />the restrictions or trusteeship have been recorded; and <br /> <br />The form for approval of County authorities as required. <br /> <br />9.50.37 Park and open space dedication. <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Purpose. The Council recognizes it is essential to <br />the health, sal~e~ ty and welfare of the residents of the City and persons working in the City, <br />that the character and quality of the environment be considered to be of major importance in <br />the planning ~ttnd development of the City. In this regard, the manner in which land is <br />developed an41 used is of high priority. The preservation of land for park, playground and <br />public open siSace purposes as it relates to the use and development of land for residential, <br />commerciaYifldustrial purpose.s is essential to the maintaining of a healthful and desirable <br />environment/'or all citizens of.the City. The City must not only provide these necessary <br />amenities for bur citizens today, but also be insightful to the needs of our future citizens. <br /> <br />It is recognize~:l by the Council that the ~emand for park, playground and public open space <br />within a murj. icipality is directly related to the density and intensity of development <br />permitted ancl allowed within any given area. Higher density developments mean gr(: ater <br />numbers of p~ople and an increased demand for parks, recreational resources and public <br />open space. '~o disregard this principle is to inevitably over-tax existing facilities and thus, <br />diminish the 4uality of the environment for all. <br /> <br /> <br />
