Continue d~e~ velopment of south side frontage road along TH 10. Absence o~ collector roads south of TH 10 to serve the area between TH 10 and the Mississipp~ River. Excessive ~umber of uncontrolled access drives onto TH 10, which have been the sites of traffic accidents, including several fatalities. The TH 10 Corridor Study (Barton-As~:hman Associates, Inc.) documented 53 private access points along TH 10 within a 2.~65 mile segment. Illogically ~paced median breaks. Eleven median breaks were identified within the same 2.65 ~ile segment. Five of these were not associated with intersections. Need for a~lditional traffic signalization at the TH 10/Armstrong Boulevard inter~ectio~. Location o~{ railroad right-of-way to the north of TH 10 only provides limited storage area for soOthbound vehicles queuing to cross TH 10 on cross streets. Need for n~rth/south overpass across the railroad right-of-way at either Puma Street, CR 83, CR!56, or CR 57. North/South Roa~ Issues and Needs Improvements to Jarvis Street with cooperation from the City of Elk River. · Inadequate ~eometrics on CR 83 from 161st Avenue to CSAH 22. · Limited at,ss opportunities to TH 10 in the vicinity of Puma Street. · Poor design[ at the intersection of TH 47 and CSAH 5 where the northbound side of TH 47 slop6s to the east. · Potential fo~ excessive number of driveways on TH 47 as future development occurs. · Potential fo~ improved geometries (turn lanes) and traffic control on TH 47 as future developmen! occurs. · Spot impro~[ements on TH 47 from CR 116 to 180th Way. · Bridge replacement on TH 47 over Ford Brook at two locations.
