The Commission noted that the Comprehensive Parks and <br />Trails Map on display in Council Chambers also omits this same <br />north-south trail connection on the south side of Lake Itasca. <br /> <br />Findings of Fact - Commercial Asphalt's request to renew CUP: <br />The Planning Commission approved 1-8, 10-14, and 16-17, and <br />directed Staff to amend the following: (9) "That the City has <br />previously issued other conditional use permits..." (15) "That <br />the plant will continue to receive access to County Roads #116 and <br />#57 via a 30 foot wide connection between the site and <br />Basalt Street N.W. which is owned by Tiller <br />Corporation, a parent company of Commercial Asphalt." <br />(18) "That the proposed use will not adversely impact traffic in the <br />area." Amend 19 thru 27 in the affirmative. The Planning <br />Commission voted to recommend that City Council adopt <br />Resolution g95-02-__ adopting the amended Findings of Fact <br />relating to Commemial Asphalt's request for a conditional use <br />permit for a hot mix asphalt plant. Forward to City Council. <br /> <br />With regard to the terms of the CUP for Commercial Asphalt: The <br />Planning Commission amended #4 to reflect a maximum height of <br />35 feet. You were directed to add a term to require a minimum <br />crushing of once a year similar to that placed on the Bury & Carlson <br />CUP. The Planning Commission voted to recommend that City <br />Council approve the issuance of a conditional use permit to <br />Commercial Asphalt for a hot mix asphalt plant and adopt <br />Resolution g95-02-__ declaring terms of same, as amended. <br />Forward to City Council. <br /> <br />Research whether the drainage system outfall from the wetland <br />system constructed as a part of the Amber Ridge subdivision is <br />functioning properly. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission voted to recommend that City Council <br />grant preliminary plat approval to Willow Ridge subject to City <br />Staff Review letter of February 1, 1995.
