Because of the nature of the street assessment, the policy of the City is that street project costs and revenues are put into the City's Public Improvement Revolving Fund for the offset of future City costs as it relates to streets. Commissioner Hendriksen noted that in the boundaries of the proposed Northfork Moors plat there is a small section of north- south trail corridor omitted in the most southeasterly point of the plat. The Commission noted that the Comprehensive Parks and Trails Map on display in Council Chambers also omits this same north-south trail connection on the south side of Lake Itasca. Research whether the drainage system ouffall from the wetland system constructed as a part of the Amber Ridge subdivision is functioning properly. A cleaning of the system has been scheduled. The Planning Commission voted to recommend that the developer address the off-street parking issue, as discussed, and make any recommended amendments to Parkshire North as directed by the Park and Recreation Commission before proceeding to preliminary plat. Commissioners Bawden and Deemer expressed interest in attending the annual area planning conference in Otsego; please register them. Council approved the proposed site plan for Wendell's contingent upon modifying the site plan and the grading and drainage plan to comply with the recommendations of the Anoka County Highway Department and said grading and drainage plan will be subject to the approval of the City Engineer.
