If your statutes are revised, they <br />might allow you to a~sure that all local divi- <br />sions and conveyance~ conform to your devel- <br />opment codes. The c~anges would create new <br />methods of land divisi~on and tighten the rules <br />for conveyances. <br /> Among other revisions of your development <br />codes, these statutor~ changes might prompt <br />revision of your defir~tions of lot, zoning lot, <br />lot of record, tract ahd parcel--and regulatory <br />usage of these terms i~ your codes. <br /> <br />Although this topic ir fraught with land law, <br />we offer our commen.~ary in this issue of The <br />Zoning Report as plan~ers~ not as lawyers.
