Because she was the only home <br />time and her future neighbors would not have had the opportunity for input at <br />he City Council granted her an interim use permit for one year. The consensus <br />r's time, Ms. Dempsey would have neighbors and it would be appropriate for <br />commercial area or reapply for a permanent home occupation permit. The <br /> <br />her to relocate to, <br />reapplication wou .d require another public hearing and thus give her new neighbors the <br />opportunity for input. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br /> a) Site ~ocation map <br /> b) Site ~lan, floor plan <br /> c) Proposed findings of fact <br /> d) Propbsed conditional use permit <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />Statutes require notification of the public hearing to all parcels within 350 feet of the subject <br />property. All homeb~ wners on Krypton Court N.W. were notified of the public hearing. <br /> [ <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />Ms. Dempsey has 1 een conducting classes for almost one year and City Staff has received no <br />complaints regardi~ g the home business. Ms. Dempsey indicates that she conducts classes on <br />Monday, Tuesday ~ ad Wednesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and she also conducts a <br />daytime class on W ;dnesdays. She enrolls a maximum of 8 students in each class. Ms. Dempsey <br />can accommodate ~ off-street parking spaces in her driveway and students are encouraged to car <br />pool.
