Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />PROPOSED <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #95-07- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A HOME OCCUPATION <br /> PERMIT AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME <br /> <br /> WHERE/IS, Diane Dempsey has properly applied for a Home Occupation Permit to <br /> conduct doll-makix~g classes within the private dwelling on the property generally known as 14794 <br /> Krypton Court N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br /> Lot 5, BloCk 3, WOOD POND HILLS 3RD ADDITION; Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> (Subject Pr[bperty); and <br /> WHEREA, S, the Planning Commission met on July 5, 1995, conducted the public <br /> hearing and recormhended City Council approval of the request. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. Based on Findings of Fact # , a home occupation permit is hereby granted to Diane <br /> Dempsey, l~ereinafter referred to as "Permit Holder", at 14794 Krypton Court N.W. to <br /> conduct doll-making classes. <br /> <br />2. Should the permit Holder die or move to a new location, the permit shall be automatically <br /> terminated, except that in the case of death, should a surviving spouse or child, residing at <br /> the same ad ~ess, desire to continue the home occupation, written notice to that effect shall <br /> be given to :he City Administrator and the City Council may authorize continuation of the <br /> permit with, ,ut further hearing. <br /> <br />3. The area de~'oted to the home occupation Shall not exceed twenty percent (20%) of the total <br /> floor area of the private dwelling. <br /> <br /> Adequate W~ater supply and sewage disposal facilities shall be the responsibility of the <br /> Permit Hol~er. <br /> <br />5. Adequate off-street parking shall be provided by the Permit Holder. <br /> <br />6. There shall i~e no exterior or interior display of business signs. <br /> <br />7. There shall be no exterior indications of the home occupation displayed. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />There shall .be no exterior storage of business equipment and materials. <br /> <br />Employees of the home occupation shall be restricted to persons residing within the private <br />dwelling on lhe Subject Property. <br /> <br />Merchandisa not considered accessory to the use shall not be displayed or offered for sale <br />w~th~n the re~s~dence. No merchandise shall be displayed or offered for sale outside the <br />residence. <br /> <br /> <br />
