Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: PROPOSED RESOLUTION #95-07-, RESOLUTiON APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A DWELLING MOVING PERMIT AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME WHERE~ ,S, Fred and Jeanette Mertens have properly applied for a Dwelling Moving Permit for the plac :ment of a modular home on the property legally described as follows: Lot 8, Bk ck 1, PINEVIEW ESTATES 2ND ADDITION, Anoka County, Minnesota (Subject Property) and WHERE~",S, the Planning Commission met on July 5, 1995, to review the application submittals and rec,[~mmended City Council approval of the request. NOW TI~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF oT..HE CITY OF RA1V~,SEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows. 1. A Dwelling Moving Permit, hereinafter referred to as "Permit", is hereby granted to Fred and Jeanett~ Mertens, hereinafter referred to a.s "Permittee", for the placement of a modular home, her{inafter referred to as "Structure, on Lot 8, Block 1, Pin,view Estates 2nd Addition, ttereinafter referred to as "Subject Property". 2. That the Pt'mittee shall provide the City with proof of ownership of the Subject Property. 3. That the pl~ement of the Structure shall comply with all City Codes and the Permittee shall acquire all gecessary permits, local or otherwise, including a building permit. That the Petmittee shall be responsible for providing the City with proof that the transporter of the StruCture is licensed to operate in the State of Minnesota and all necessary permits have been 6brained. That no building permit will be issued for the Structure to be moved into the City unless the financial g~arantee described in Paragraph 9 has been satisfied. That all plumbing shall be tested in accordance with the requirements of the State Plumbing Code. o That all elegtrical circuits shall be tested in accordance with the requirements of the State Electrical C~de. That the e!tablishment of the Structure on the Subject Property shall be completed and receive[certi.ficate of occupancy by December 1, 1995. Failure to complete the project by December 1, 1995, will permit the City to draw upon the financial guarantee required in paragraph T, of this agreement. That the Pehrfittee shall provide the City of Ramsey with a financial guarantee in the form of cash or ~t letter of credit, approved as to form by the City, in the amount of Two Thousand F~ve Hundred Dollars and no cents ($2,500.00) for the purpose of guaranteeing compliance!with the terms of this Permit and satisfactory completion of the project, as determined ~y the Building Official.
