The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present. <br />Also Present: <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />3. CITIZEN INPUT <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />Councilmember Randy Backous <br />Councilmember Colin McGlone <br />Councilmember Jason Tossey <br />Councilmember Jeffrey Wise <br />Members Absent: Councilmember David Elvig <br />Council Vacancy <br />City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Senior Planner Timothy Gladhill <br />City Engineer Tim Himmer <br />Police Chief James Way <br />Planning Intern Patrick Brama <br />Street Supervisor Grant Reimer <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Mayor Ramsey called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:00 p.m., and <br />led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br />2. PRESENTATION <br />Following the approval of the Consent Agenda, which includes the approval of the end of <br />probationary period, firefighter Joshua Diekow was presented. <br />Helen Kamrowski, 16756 Sodium Street, Ramsey, stated she has a flooded house. She requested <br />information to file a claim. She explained they have had three floods and there is still standing <br />water in the front and back yards of her home. <br />City Engineer Himmer said he will give an update at the end of the meeting relating to flooding <br />city wide. He noted in the short term, staff discussed creating a ditch. This cannot be solved for <br />City Council / July 26, 2011 <br />Page 2 of 9 <br />
