Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION ~95-07- <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN <br /> PROPERTY FROM B-3 HIGHWAY BUSINESS TO ~ URBAN RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br /> with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code; and <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. That Super Bowl, Inc. and Fitzsimonds Builders, Inc., 'hereinafter referred to as <br /> "Applicants", have properly applied to rezone certain property from B-3 Highway Business <br /> to R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />2. That the Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section <br /> 9.03.03 of the City Code on August 1, 1995 and that said public hearing was properly <br /> advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br /> 3. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> <br /> The south 189.4 feet of Lot 6, Block 4, Riverside West, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> ("the Subject Property"). <br /> <br /> 4.That the total area of the Subject Property to be rezoned is approximately .9 acres in size. <br /> <br />5. That the Subject Property is currently zoned B-3 Highway Business. <br /> <br />6. That the adjacent properties to the north and west are zoned B-3 Highway Business and the <br /> properties to the south and east are zoned R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />7. That the parcels to the south and east were rezoned from Business to Residential in 1988 <br /> and ptatted into urban size lots in 1990. <br /> <br />8. That the Subject Property has received final plat approval from the City of Ramsey as Lots <br /> 2 and 3, Block 1, Riverview Bowl. <br /> <br />9. That the proposed zoning amendment will/will not substantially adversely impair the use or <br /> market value of any surrounding property. <br /> <br />10. That .the proposed zoning amendment will/will not change the essential character of the <br /> area. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> <br />
