If the meeting cannot be scheduled until after <br />the new year, Councilmember Peterson will take Mayor <br />Gilbertson's place on the Committee. Schedule such meeting. <br />Meeting was held with Hardin. <br /> <br />Christmas Tree Lot signs were discussed. The Council talked <br />about having the Planning Commission review the sign ordinance <br />as it relates to seasonal, etc. As discussion ensued, it appeared the <br />consensus of the Council was that this would be a good discussion <br />for the workshop. Councilmember Zimmerman stated he felt that <br />with regard to Christmas Tree farms, the signs should pertain more <br />to the directional rather than to the price of the trees. <br /> <br />Draft an ordinance to change the subdivision sketch plan procedure <br />so that it goes to the Parks & Recreation Commission prior to the <br />Planning Cornmission. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson requested information on why it's 600' <br />for cul-de-sac length - From a planning standpoint - should we keep <br />it at that - what's the reason for it He would also like input from <br />public works people and emergency people. <br /> <br />With regard to amending the thoroughfare setbacks, the Planning <br />Commission voted to delete #3 which reads "On County Roads #116 <br />and #56 - adopt the County policy of 60 feet from the centerline of the <br />right-of-way plus the City's standard setback and to the 4th sentence - <br />remove the period after centerline and add "of the right of way". <br /> <br />The Planning Commission voted to recommend that City CounCil <br />approve the proposed site plan for North Lake Properties multi- <br />tenant retail facility based upon discussion and contingent upon <br />compliance with City Staff Review Letter dated June 1, 1995 and <br />any recommendations from Mn/DOT. Forward to City Council. <br />Applicant requested tabling. <br /> <br />Execute Resolution #95-07-147 (Zimmerman/Beahen/Hardin <br />absent) adopting Findings of Fact 00380 relating to a request from <br />North Fork, Inc. for a conditional use permit for grading in <br />Northfork Links.
