Councilraember <br /> <br /> moved for the adoption of the following findings of fact: <br />RESOLUTION g95-11- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO <br />A REQUEST FOR AN INTERIM USE PERMIT F~A TEMPORARY <br />OFFICE STRUCTURE ON THE PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN AS <br />6640 IN])USTRY AVENUE N.W. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amcor Precast, a division of Oldcastle Pre, cast, Inc., hereinafter <br />referred tO as "Applicant", has properly applied for an Interim Use Permit for placement of <br />a temporary office structure on the property generally known as 6640 Industry Avenue <br />N.W. and;legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The East Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 27, <br />Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, except that part thereof <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Commencing at the Northwest comer of said East Half of the Southeast Quarter of <br />the Southwest Quarter, thence South along the West line of the said East Half of the <br />Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter 409.44 feet to the point of beginning; <br />thence East at right angles 11 feet; thence South at right angles 264 feet; thence <br />West at right angles to the West line of said East Half of the Southeast Quarter of <br />thc Southwest Quarter;, thence North along said West line to the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF TI{E CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF <br />MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing <br />pUrsuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on November 9, 1995 and <br />that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public <br />hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />That the subject property is located in the Business Warehouse District and is <br />approximately 20 acres in size. <br /> <br />That the surrounding parcels are also zoned Business Warehouse. <br /> <br />That the Applicant leases the subject property from Royal Concrete Products, Inc. <br /> <br />That the Applicant is proposing to place a 24' x 60' modular office structure on the <br />subject property. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that the purpose of the temporary structure is to <br />provide additional office space while assessing space needs and preparing a site <br />plan to develop the site as a permanent location for the Applicant. <br /> <br />That the Applicant is requesting the use of the temporary structure for a three (3) <br />year period. <br /> <br /> <br />
