Animals, Domestic Farm -Horses, cattle, sheep, ducks, chickens, geese, rabbits, <br />pigeons, goats, hogs, bees, turkeys. <br /> <br />pets. <br /> <br />Animals, Domestic Pets - Dogs, cats, birds and other commonly known house <br /> <br /> Aportment - A room or suite of rooms which is designed for, intended for, or <br />occupied as a housekeeping unit and is equipped with cooking facilities. <br /> <br /> Auto salvage - See "Vehicle Wrecking Yard". <br /> <br /> Bay - Cantilevered area of room. <br /> <br /> Block - A tract of land bounded by streets, or a combination of streets, parks, <br />cemeteries, railroad right-of-way, shorelines, waterways, or corporate boundary lines of the City. <br /> <br /> Board - The Board of Adjustment established by this Chapter. <br /> <br /> Botllevard - That portion of the street right-of-way between the curb line edge of <br />the traveled portion of the road or shoulder and the abutting property line. <br /> <br /> Buildable Area - The space remaining on a zoning lot after minimum yard and <br />open space requirements have been met. <br /> <br /> Building - Any structure, with the exception of enclosed trailers with or without <br />axles, having a roof which may provide shelter, support, protection or enclosure of persons, <br />animals or property of any kind. <br /> <br /> Building Height - A distance to be measured from the mean ground level to the <br />highest point of a fiat roof over average height of the highest gable of a pitched or hip roof. <br /> <br /> Business - Any establishment, occupation, employment or enterprise where <br />merchandise is manufactured, exhibited or sold, or where services are offered for compensation. <br /> <br /> Business Incubator/Multi-Tenant Facility - A commercial or industrial <br />development consisting of two (2) or more separate units or suites sharing a common building <br />and parking area. <br /> <br /> Business Service - Any business activity which renders service to other <br />commercial or industrial enterprises. <br /> <br /> CarPort - An automobile shelter open on one or more sides, and shall be <br />considered an accessory building. <br /> <br /> Cellar - That portion of a building between floor and ceiling which is wholly or <br />partly below grade and so located that the vertical distance from grade to the floor below is equal <br />to or greater than tlle vertical distance from grade to ceiling. <br /> <br /> <br />
