of the pointing of any brick, block, or stone wall is loose or has fallen out, the surface shall be <br />repaired. <br /> <br /> Subd. 14. Grading and Drainage. Except for the wetland and approved <br />ponds, every yardi court, walkway, driveway, and other portions of the premises on which a <br />building stands must be graded and drained so as to be free of standing water. The water must <br />not be drained onto adjacent properties except as provided in legally recorded easements or other <br />documents. <br /> <br />Subd. 15. Units at or Below Grade <br /> <br />ao _ <br /> <br />All windows located at or near ground level used or intended to be used for <br />ventilation, all other openings located at or near ground level, and all <br />exterior doorways which might provide an entry for rodents shall be <br />supplied with adequate screens or such other devices as will prevent the <br />entrance of rodents into the structure. <br /> <br />All sewers, pipes, drains or conduits and openings around such pipes and <br />conduits shall be constructed to prevent the ingress and egress of rodents to <br />or from the building. <br /> <br />Co <br /> <br />Interior floors or basements and other areas in contact with the soil shall be <br />rodent-proofed to prevent the entrance of rodents into the structure. <br /> <br /> Subd. 16. Facilities for Storage and Disposal of Rubbish, Garbage and <br />Recyclable Materials. Every owner of a dwelling unit shall be responsible for providing and <br />maintaining facilities for the sanitary and safe storage and disposal of rubbish, garbage, and <br />recyclable materia~ls and for arranging for the collection of this material. The owner of a rental <br />facility or unit, either directly or through the owner's agent, operator, or manager, shall be <br />responsible for surpplying containers or other approved methods for the common storage and <br />collection of such materials. <br /> <br /> Subd. 17. Pests and Extermination. All structures and exterior property <br />shall be free fi'om~ rodent harborage and infestation. Materials and food sources for pests shall <br />not be allowed to accumulate either inside or outside a structure in a manner that attracts an <br />infestation of pest~. All openings with a diameter of one half inch or more in the exterior walls, <br />foundations, basements, cellars, ground or first floors, and roofs of a structure shall be sealed or <br />capable of being s'ealed in an approved manner so as to not permit an infestation of pests. The <br />occupancy of a u~it shall be responsible for the extermination of any infestation of pests within <br />the unit or on. the Premises under the immediate control of the occupant. The association shall be <br />responsible for the extermination of an infestation of pests within all common areas. For rental <br />units, the owner, 'either directly or through the owner's agent, operator, or manager shall be <br />responsible for th~ extermination of an infestation of pests within any dwelling unit and within <br />all common areas; The occupant of a single occupancy dwelling shall be responsible for the <br />extermination of an infestation of pests within the structure and on the premises. <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br /> <br />
