ORDiNANcE #03-25-- - CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER' 8 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE BUILDING AND HOUSING CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OE RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC- TION 8.60 "RESIDENTIAL HOUSING STANDARDS" OF CHAPTER 8 OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. The City of Ramsey ordains: SECTION 1. SUMMARY The following official summary of Ordinance #03-25 has been approved by the City Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. Section 8.61 Multiple Dwellings is herein repealed. It is the intent and effect of Ordinance #03- to amend Ramsey City Code Chapter 8 (Building and Housing) to establish basic minimum standards for the maintenance of .housing within the City of Ramsey, including ownerooccu- pied and rental housing. Such basic stan- dards include general safety, plumbing, electrical, and exterior maintenance. The ordinance includes provisions for enforce- ment, violation, and appeal. SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE The effective date of this ordinance is thirty (30) days after its passage and pub- lication, subject to City Charter Section $.07.
