CouncilmemberElvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #03-09-242 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED 2003, PAYABLE 2004, TAX LEVY AND SCHEDULE BUl}GET PUBLIC HEARING DATES NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the following proposed levies for certified 2003, payable 2004, be levied upon the taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following purposes: GENERAL LEVY Fund 101: General Fund- General Operations Fiscal Disparity Transfer - as estimated Collected as Property Tax General Levy $ 670,179 4,109,138 $ 4,779,317 DEBT SERVICE LEVY Lease Revenue Bond (collected as property tax): Fire Station #2 Certificates of Indebtedness 150,607 144,056 294,663 SPECIAL LEVIES Pera Rate Increase 8,784 DRAINAGE DISTRICT LEVY Mississippi River Stormwater Subdrainage District 43,348 2) 3) TOTAL PROPOSED LEVIES $5,126,112 That the City of Ramsey's 2004 Public Budget Hearing is scheduled for Monday, December 1, 2003, at 6:00 p.m. and a reconvene date (if necessary) is scheduled for Monday, December 8, 2003, at 6:00 p.m. That the City of Ramsey will not be levying $58,382 associated with the bonded indebtedness for water tower #2.
