Councilnicrnbet Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #88-206 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR COTTONWOOD <br />CONSTRUCTION, ]E'I,)N, INC. (PROJECT #88-17 CENTRAL PARK PARK CENTER) <br />WIII?1EA,S, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on July 13, <br />1988; anti <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #88-116 <br />awarding the: bid to Cottonwood Construction, Inc. for the construction of the Central Park Park <br />Center. <br />WHEREAS, City Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. <br />recommended partial payment to Cottonwood Construction in the amount of $58,827.46. <br />NOW THHERD,I+ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Thai die (_iity Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Cottonwood Construction for <br />the 1';u-1.- Center construction in the amount of $58,827.46. <br />2) I'liai i he (;.ty Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release <br />form far this partial payment. <br />3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in the resolution approving <br />pays Went or hills for the month of October, 1988. <br />4) That l lie City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br />The motion fo, the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />DeLuca and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor keiinann <br />Council member Pearson <br />Cott ncilmember DeLuca <br />Unit rci!member Bawden <br />Co�_urcilrnembcr Sorteberg <br />and the following Voted against the same: <br />None; <br />and the follow!' ig abstained: <br />Non <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />• <br />
