• <br />• <br />Councilmemher Sorichcr:p introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #88-213 <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON STREET <br />IMPROVEMEN I' (WACO DRIVE AND WACO STREET) <br />WIIEREAS, pu scant to a resolution of the Ramsey City Council adopted July 12, 1988, a report <br />has been prepared by Mr. Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. with reference to the <br />tarvia surfacing =niprove;nent of the following streets: <br />a) Waco 1 tr ive N.W. between Waco St. N.W. and Burns Township <br />b) Waco ; treet N,W. between 179th Lane N.W. and Burns Township <br />WIJERE,A5, he report was received by the Ramsey City Council on October 25, 1988 which <br />report indicates the tirllo'.ving: <br />Estimated '1'ut;ri Cost or Project <br />Estimated T(ct;t1 Assessment per unit <br />(individul property cost): <br />Estimated Annual Assessment per unit <br />10year t n <br />$40,730.00 <br />$ 3,702.73 <br />$ 576.89 <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, A'ATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the ltaru5-_;y City Council will consider the tarvia surfacing improvement of such streets in <br />accordance -with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of <br />the improvement pursuant to the Ramsey City Charter at an estimated total cost of the improvement <br />of $40,730.00. <br />2) That a public: I1er;ring shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 29th day of November, <br />1988, in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:30 p.m. and the City <br />Administr:rti rr ,11:i11 give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required <br />by law. <br />The motion for the :idol tion of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Bawden <br />and upon vote Mart � Elkin thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Rehr+atru <br />Councilme.nrber :;ortcberg <br />Councilmen her tawden <br />Councilmember 1)eLuca <br />Councilrnenrbv.r- '-'e;arson <br />and the following' vi rind ;against the same: <br />None <br />and the following ;thyHred: <br />None <br />
