<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
<br />SECTIONS 117 -1-14 (8 -1 GENERAL.
<br />BUSINESS - DISTRICT),`117 -115 (8 -2
<br />HIGHWAY BUSINESS DISTRICT),
<br />117.116 (E -2 EMPLOYMENT DIS
<br />- TRICT), - 117 -117 (E -1. EMPLOYMENT
<br />DISTRICT), 117 -120. (H -1 HIGHWAY
<br />10 BUSINESS DISTRICT), 117 -121
<br />(B -3 BUSINESSDISTRICT), 117-348
<br />(NEWLY ERECTED BUILDINGS; LOT

<br />The City of Ramsey ordains:
<br />SECTION 1. AUTHORDY
<br />This ordinance is adopted pursu-
<br />ant to and under the authority of the
<br />City Charter of the City of Ramsey.
<br />SECTION 2. SUMMARY
<br />16e following is the official sum-
<br />mary of Ordinance #11 -09, which has
<br />been approved by the City Council of
<br />the City of Ramsey as clearly inform-
<br />ing the public of The intent and effect
<br />of the Ordinance.
<br />It is the Intent and effect of Ordi-
<br />nance #11 -09 to amend Ramsey,
<br />Minnesota City Code Sections
<br />117 -114 (B -1 General Business Dis-
<br />trict), 117 -115 (8 -2 Highway Busi-
<br />ness District), 117 -116 (E -2 Employ-
<br />ment District), "11.7 -11 7 (E -1
<br />Employment District), 117 -120 (1-1-1
<br />Highway - 10 Business District),
<br />117 - 121 - (B -3 Business District),
<br />117 -348 (Newly erected buildings; lot
<br />grade elevations), -117 -614 (Subdivi-
<br />sion design standards), and 117-615
<br />(Construction of improvements) to:
<br />- Reduce the required depth of
<br />topsoil from six (6) inches to four (4)
<br />inches on a lot whenever a building
<br />• permit'is issued for the construction
<br />of a principal structure, excluding
<br />those areas that will be improved
<br />with buildings, structures, parking
<br />and storage as well as natural areas
<br />that are left undisturbed.
<br />SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE
<br />The effective date of this Ordi-
<br />nance is thirty (30) days after its pas-
<br />sage and publication, subject to City
<br />Charter Section 5.07.
