City Administration <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Earlier this sunmaer, Council authorized staff to proceed with the next step in planning for a new <br />City Hall mad "Police Offices. Conceptual drawings and cost estimates are complete and will be <br />presented to Council during the worksession o1~, October 7a~. Bill Baxley of BKV Group and <br />Cheryl Badinger ofE&V 3Dfl Group will be in attendance to present the conceptual drawings and <br />cost esthnates. <br /> <br />Additionally, as Council considers mox42~g forward with the City Hall/Police Offices project, there <br />may be a need to appoinl a committee to provide input and feedback to the architects and Council <br />regarding the desig~a m~d structure of the facility. Staff would recommm~d a committee comprised <br />of a represmatative of each city depamnent mid two members of City Council. Staff is seekh~g <br />direction from Cotmcil regarding establishing a City Facility Committee. <br /> <br />Action Statement: <br /> <br />Staff is seeldng direction regarding moving forward with plarming for new City Hall and Police <br />Offices and establishing a'City F,,acility CO1TI1TIitte~. <br /> <br /> <br />
