tc 'JUL 18 2011 <br />RESOLUTION #11 -04 -081 <br />1111111011111111111111111110111111111111111 <br />Record ID 2417535 <br />Councilmember Wise introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE TERMS OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />RELATED TO THE OPERATION OF A RELIGIOUS INSTITUTION IN THE R -1 <br />RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, Cross of Hope Lutheran Church (the "Permittee ") has properly applied for <br />a Conditional Use Permit (the "Permit ") to operate a church on the property generally known as <br />5730 179 Lane NW, and legally described as: <br />The west 10 acres of the east 20 acres of Lot 1 Auditors Subdivision No. 27, except part <br />platted as Garden of Hope, also except road, subject to easement of record, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota <br />-and - <br />The east 10 acres of Lot 1 Auditors Subdivision No. 27, subject to easement of record, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota <br />-Or upon recording - <br />Lot 1, Block 1, Cross of Hope Addition <br />(the "Subject Property "); and <br />2023153.008 <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on November 4, 2010 and conducted a <br />public hearing and recommended City Council approve the request. <br />WHEREAS, on January 25, 2011, the Ramsey City Council adopted resolution #11 -01- <br />033, which approved the issuance of the Permit to Cross of Hope Lutheran Church. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received a letter from Cross of Hope Lutheran Church, <br />dated March 15, 2011, requesting that Term #5 of the Permit be amended to allow external <br />activities on the property between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That this Permit shall be perpetual in its duration so long as the conditions imposed <br />herein are complied with. <br />2. That the permitted uses on the site shall be limited to a religious institution and its <br />associated activities. <br />3. That this Permit shall remain in effect for all of the Subject Property. The ability to <br />expand the site operation shall exempt the Permittee from requiring Permit <br />
