and implement policies to plant, nurture, protect, and steward our natural <br />diversity. <br />4) That the Ramsey City Council encourages efforts to maintain our historic sites <br />with significant tree species, enhance species diversity to buffer against disease <br />and/or pest outbreaks, promote replanting of native species and strategically <br />locate plantings to enhance energy. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Backous, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Wise <br />Councilmember Backous <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Tossey <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 12 day of April, 2011. <br />Resolution #11 -04 -083 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Mayor <br />
