Ramsey, MN 55303 Dear Sylvia: As a business owner located across the street from Danny's Transmisssion I have been aware of the company "Danny's Transmission~t being in violation of his conditional use permit. (Again). Last week during business hours and after business hours Danny's Transmission~left trailers from Semi trucks and Semi trucks with trailers standing in the road (Basalt St.) waiting to be unloaded or loaded fo~ days at a time during the week of October llth thru the 15th. T~is is the street in front of our driveways, where we receive deliveries from companies driving semi trailer trucks and the area our iemployees drive to and from work. To my knowledge Danny's Transmission does not own Basalt St. nor does he have~permisssion in his newest conditional use permit to operate his business in a public street. After seeing no improvement in this situation this week, I spoke to John at Ramsey City Hall. He told me that for action to be taken to document ~y complaint and record dates and times of the violations. Below is what I observed this week; On Monday, O~tober 18th, trailers were parked on and backed up behind each Other in the street throughout the day. I did not record the exact times because I was not aware that I had to supply this information until Tuesday October 19th, however, there were trailers parked and backed up on the street when I left work at 4:30 p.m. on !this day and there was one or more trailers and vehicles parked there all day long. On Tuesday October 19th, when I arrived at work at 9:00 a.m. the same trailer ~hat had been parked there on Monday (the front one) was still in tJue street. When I left to watch my daughter's game in Elk River at 3:45 p.m. the same trailer from the morning was still sitting in the street (name on ~trailer was Century /Mercury license plate ~25992), a semi truck with trailer (license plate ~757783) and a~other trailer parked behind that one with no license plate.
