Councilrncmber introduc~ the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g94-01- RESOLUTION :APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT NO. 2 TO W. B. MILLER, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g92-14 (GRADING AND BITUMINOUS SURFACING OF WACO STREET N.W. AND WACO DRIVE N.W. FROM 179TH LANE ]q.W. TO THE NORTHERN CITY BOUNDARY) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on July I3, 1993; and WHEREA~S, the City Council of the City of Rarnsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to W. B.Miller! Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project ~'92-14; and WHEREA~S, City Engineer Steve Jankowski recommends payment to W. B.Miller, Inc. in the amount of $2,643,09. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ci.ty Council hereby authorizes payment to W. B.Miller, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project g92-14 in the amount of $2,643.09. 2) 3) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for thi~ final payment. r That the tot!tl amount of this final payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of January 1994. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the ~doption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember andFrupon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said res&lution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 8th day of January, 1994.
