Counciln~mbc'r its adoption: introduced thc following r~solution and moved for RESOLUTION ~'94-01- A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # REGARDING THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ISSUED TO DANV[7~S TRANNY'S, INC WHEREAS, Danny's Tranny's, Inc,, hereinafter referred to as "Permit Holder", has a Conditional Use Permit to disassemble engines and transmissions and conduct wholesale operations in the Industrial District on the property legally described as follows: Lots 2, 3 and 4, Block 4, Gateway North Industrial Park Plat #2, Ano -k.a County, Minnesota. (the "Site") NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the Permit Holder properly apphed for a conditional use permit to disassemble engines and transmissions and conduct wholesale operations in the Industrial District and the Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on June 1, 1993 on this application. That the R,m~ey City Council approved the request for a conditional use permit on June 22, 1993 (the "CUP"). That the following violations of the terms of the CUP have been documented by the City: a) b) c) d) e) g) h) Operations commenced prior to the consa'ucrion of the building, wi'rich operations include the loading and unloading of materials, transportation of materials from the Site to Lot 1, Block 4, Gateway North Industrial Park Plat #2, and sorting of materials; Exterior storage of equipment, debris, inoperable equipment and materials waiting to be prepared for processing on Lot 1, Block 4, Gateway North Industrial Park Plat #2; Areas being used for park.Sng, loading and maneuvering are not hardsurfaced; Loading and unloading not being conducted wholly within a building Traffic being generated that contributes to congestion of public s~reets such as loading and unloading operations and off-street parking extending into road fight-of-way; Site not being policed regularly to ensure orderly aesthetic conditions; Outside storage of semi-mailers on the Site in violation of Item #19 of the CUP; Preparation of feedstock for the aluminum recycling facility on Lot 1, Block 4, Gateway North Industrial Park Plat #2.
