The Planning Commission then made a recommendation to forward the sketch plan for <br />the townhouses to City Council for approval with the list of contingencies modified to categorize <br />Items (3) and (7) pertaining to the Metro Council as concerns rather than contingencies for <br />approval. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />It is City Staff's opinion that all of the sketch plan approval contingencies a_re still appropriate. <br />Taking into consideration the comments made in the Metro Council letter of March 30, 1993, the <br />City is concerned that premature development of multi-family units in the rural district will <br />negatively impact Metro Council's review of current and future MUSA expansion requests.
