After conducting focus groups with fmmilies that CEAP serve~, we decided to change how s~rvices are <br />a~:iivercd to the community. TOe families we serve asked for help in; 1.) thc stabilizing of their lives; 2.) help in removing barriers which were placed in their wa>'; 3.) help <br />rewards scl f sufficiency. <br /> <br />Self-support can take many forms, for some it is a loan for a car or for repair of their existing transportation. Others may need a mentor who can assist with some of life's <br />difficulties. Our goal is Io view families from a point of strength not weakness, and journey with them. <br /> <br />As CEAP forges ahead wi~h this new method of delivering services, a cooperative efforl becomes vital to serve the ne.~is of the people in the community. Sm:ngthening <br />t~ family becomes -', community effort, a p.',nnership looking out for the futures of o~er~. <br /> <br />L~n)king tt} the future CEAP is excited about the opportunity to join with other organizations and businesses to develop the strengths of the community.
