Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # 94-02- RESOLUTION .CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MODIFICATION OF THE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 AND MODIFI(~ATION OF THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO.2 WHEREAS, the City Council, by prior action, has established Development District No. 1 (Development District) pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.124 through 469.134 and has established several tax increment financing (TIF) districts within Development District No. 1 pursuant to MinneSota Statutes, Sections 469.174 through 469.179; and WHEREAS, the City Council believes it is necessary to modify the Development Program for the D~velopment District and modify the TIF Plan for TIF District No. 2 within the Development District. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be prepared a modified D.~velopment Program for Development District No. 1 and a modified TIF Plan for TIF District No. 2 and to file a copy of all documents in City Hall. 2) That the CiU Administrator is authorized and directed to prepare a notice for publication in the official mewspaper setting a public hearing before the City Council on the 8th day of March, 199A, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the modified Program and TIF Plan. The fiorice shall be published in the newspaper at least 10 but not more than 30 days prior to the public hearing. 3) That the Cig Administrator is authorized and directed to take all other actions necessary to bring the MBdified Development Program and TII:: Plan before the City Council at the time of the public heating. The motion for the- adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Couneilmember and Upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following vOted against the same: and the following abstained: an the following were absent: whereupon said resglution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council on this the 8th day of l~ebruary, 1994.
