In accordance with the Development Agreement for Rivenwick, park dedication will consist of a <br />cash payment. The Developer will also be responsible for constructing a trail connection to link the <br />trails in the fzrst and second additions of Rivenwick with the Mississippi Trail Corridor to the <br />south. This wail link is not eligible for park dedication credit. <br /> <br />The outstanding item remaing to be fulfilled relating to this 2nd Addition is a review of the plat by <br />the Lower Rum River Water Management Organization. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The Planning Commission has recommended denial of the request to design 137th Avenue as a cul- <br />de-sac versus a through street. However, it is unknown whether that recommendation would have <br />been maintained had the supporting documentation for street redesign prepared by Richard Bloom <br />and Project Manager Jim Gromberg been available at the time of their meeting. <br /> <br />City Staff is recommending approval of the request to revise the preliminary plat for Rivenwick <br />2nc{ Addition to redesign I37th Avenue N.W. as a cul-de-sac versus a through street. <br /> <br />City Staff is recommending approval of the final plat for Rivenwick 2nd Addition contingent upon <br />the developer entering into a development agreement with the City and compliance with LRRWMO <br />requirements. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />To approve/deny the proposed revision to the Rivenwick preliminary plat to design 137th <br />Avenue as a cut-de-sac versus a through street. <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Resolution 94-02- granting final plat approval to Rivenwick 2nd Addition <br />connngent upon a favorable review by the LRRWMO and compliance with City Staff <br />review letter dated January 31, I994 <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Engineer <br />Project Manager <br />Parks &Utilities Coordinator <br /> <br />4CC: <br /> <br />2/8/94 <br /> <br /> <br />
