CASE <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br />REQUEST FOR EASEMENT VACATION <br />SUNFISH LAKE BUSINESS PARK; <br /> CASE OF CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> By: Amy Geisler, Associate Planner <br /> <br />The City Council approved the final plat of Sunfish Lake Business Park 2nd Addition at their <br />August 12, 2003 meeting. A portion of the Business Park was replatted to accommodate requests <br />for smaller lots by prospective buyers. Some of the easements that were put in place with the <br />original plat of the Business Park now need to be vacated. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />Site location map <br />Exhibit of underlying easements t'o be vacated <br />Proposed ordinance <br /> <br />In accordance with State Statute, City Staff attempted to notify property owners within 350 feet <br />of the subject property of the public hearing to vacate easements. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />A public hearing is required to eliminate the underlying drainage and utility easements that are a <br />part of the original Sunfish Lake Business Park plat. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends introduction of the enclosed ordinance to vacate existing easements. <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to introduce Ordinance #03- to vacate certain drainage and utility easements in <br />Sunfish Lake Business Park. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br />Assistant Community Development Director <br />City Engineer <br /> <br />CC: 10/14/03 <br /> <br /> <br />
