Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #03-06-137 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~AUTHORIZING REPLACEMENT OF THE EXISTING POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT VOICE RECORDING SYSTEM WITIt A DIGITAL SYSTEM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Department is in need of replacing some of its existing voice <br />recording equipment for purposes of investigative interviews and interrogation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that a Dictaphone digital recording system will <br />accommodate the 6urrent and future police department needs; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that the recording system can be funded from the <br />Equipment Replacement Fund in an amount not to exceed $925.51. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the l~amsey City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of a Dictaphone Inc. <br /> Digital Recording System to be funded from the Equipment Replacement Fund in an <br /> amount notto exceed $ 925.51. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kurak, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> Councilmetnber Kurak <br /> Councilmember Cook <br /> Councilmember Elvig <br /> Councilmember Pearson <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br /> <br />
