City Attorney Goodrich reviewed the staff report and cited Notice of Filing Order, Court File <br />Number 02 -cv -08 -8487, Tenth Judicial District, Assessment Appeal, addressed to William <br />Goodrich; Keith Keifer vs. City of Ramsey, a Municipality of Anoka County. <br />He noted the City and the Police Department researched the situation, and agreed that the case <br />was handled respectfully. <br />Remove -All was contracted to handle the abatement. Councilmember McGlone, owner of <br />Remove -All, explained the charges on the invoice. <br />Discussion took place regarding the potential need in the future of itemized inventory lists and <br />administrative search warrants. <br />Attorney Tietjen noted the City does have the right to appeal. <br />Consensus was reached to direct staff to research the process and reassess the situation. <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to open the regular <br />Council meeting. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Elvig, Wise, McGlone, and <br />Tossey. Voting No: None. <br />The closed session ended at 5:46 p.m. <br />5. ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to adjourn the Special City <br />Council Meeting. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Elvig, Wise, McGlone, and <br />Tossey.
