Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-06-141 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CLIMB, INC. APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT <br />FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT JR'S SALOON IN RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Climb, [nc., has applied for a premise permit for gambling at JR's Saloon, <br />6141 Highway 10, Ramsey; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Climb, Inc. has requested Council waive the 30-day notice provision; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That tile R. amsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for Climb, <br />Inc. to operate lawful gambling at JR'S Saloon, 6141 Highway 10, Ramsey. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council <br />Officer to: sign the application <br />Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kurak, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmomber Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Counci hnember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmen~ber Pearson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />NOlle <br /> <br /> <br />
